21.9.2005: Google indexes my Echolist Directory website and place it on page five.
23.9.2005: The website is promoted to place nineteen.
29.9.2005: Pushed down to pages three and four.
03.10.2005: Promoted to first page, place seven.
04/10/2005: Pushed down to page two, place thirteen.
10/10/2005: Promoted again to the first page, place nine.
17/10/2005: Promoted to place six. Respect!
19/10/2005: Pushed down to place 7.
20/10/2005: Promoted back to place six. :)
23/10/2005: Google's PR update: PR3 for this main page, and PR2 to all the other pages.
25/10/2005: The Audi Echolist Directory is back to the first top ten!
26/10/2005: On some servers I appear on the sixth place, while other servers place me on the fourth place.
2/11/2005: Google has dropped me down to slot seven, after a while at slot 4 and slot 6.
3/11/2005: I have inserted the Major update into the main page.
9/11/2005: Place five on page one. After about two weeks on place 6.
10/11/2005: Listen to that: Slot 9, while the websites above me have never been seen before on the first page.
11/11/2005: News page has been updated.
13/11/2005: Now i'm on slot ten. However, another information center lists me on slot 6.
16/11/2005: I have been placed in slot 4. Since the first two slots are taken by the Echolist Directory managers, I am the 2nd in the contest.
18/11/2005: Added "Google Bombing" information taken from Wikipedia.
26/11/2005: It's been a while since I updated the website. I'm not on slot eight. I will do some update and more links job tomorrow or the day after tomorrow.
26/11/2005: Now I'm on slot ten. Probably because I haven't gotten even one incoming link the past two weeks. That's bad.
04/12/2005: Some new links were added on the links page.
09/12/2005: After a while in slot eight, I'm now in slot seven. That might be because of some good link exchanges
16/12/2005: I have heard of another SEO content to be announced soon. Hopefully the managers would be more cooperative than the Echolist Directory's.
16/12/2005: Seems like I've been promoted one slot again. Slot six instead of seven.

On Echolist Directory I could, easily, reach a slot at the first page. However, the CPayscom Online Casinos competition is something else.
I don't seem to be pushed down by the high number of competitors, or anything like that (fact.. on MSN I appear on the first page!).
The only thing with my google's rank is that I have been sandboxed, and I doubt if I could get out of it until the competition ends.
Tough shit!
And this website has ended fourth in the competition, and six in Google.
Three weeks had passed and I have registered to two new competitions:

Search engine optimization (SEO) is a set of methods aimed at improving the ranking of a website in search engine listings. The term also refers to an industry of consultants that carry out optimization projects on behalf of clients' sites.
Initially, search engines were guided by the webmasters themselves. First versions of search engine algorithms relied on information which was provided by webmasters like meta tags. Meta tags provided a guide to each page's content and relevant keywords. Soon some webmasters began to abuse meta tags, causing their pages to rank for irrelevant searches. In response, search engines developed more complex algorithms, taking into account a wider range of factors. The modern search engine algorithms consider much less importancy for meta tags than before.
Today, all search engines keep their methods and algorithms secret. A search engine probably uses hundreds of factors in ranking the listing on it's SERPs.
Although search engines offer a free website submittion service, New sites
no longer need to be submitted to search engines to be listed.
A simple link from an established site will get the search engines to visit
the new site and spider its contents.
Naturally, this means that it is good practice to have some means (such
as a site map, or plain hypertext links) so that once a spider finds part
of a site, it can navigate to the rest. Otherwise, individual, isolated,
dead-end pages must be found one-by-one from outside the site; any pages
that are not linked to from outside can only be found by links internal
to the site.
For those search engines, like Yahoo, who have their own paid submission,
it may save some time to pay a nominal fee for submission.

"Echolist Directory" is a Search Engine Optimization contest (similar to the old "Fortuno Winnero" contest).
The contest is about promoting the words 'Echolist Directory' in the Google search engine.
The participants desire to reach one of the three first places.
